We are thrilled to announce that we have officially broken ground and started the demolition for the much-anticipated expansion of the United Muslims of Australia (UMA) Centre. This marks the beginning of a transformative journey towards creating a larger, more inclusive, and resource-rich hub for our community in Australia.
This monumental step was made possible through your generous support. Thanks to your contributions, we can now move forward with our plans, which include constructing a new underground car park, an expansive education facility, conference and lecture halls, a large studio, offices, and a larger Masjid.
The UMA has always been more than just a centre; it’s a sanctuary, a haven, and a home to many in our community. For the young and the old, the reverts and the sisters seeking solace, the UMA has always been a nurturing and supportive environment. We are dedicated to fostering an Islamic way of life confidently and holistically, and this expansion will enable us to extend our services to thousands more in Sydney.
As we embark on this construction phase, we want to reassure our community that the spirit and mission of the UMA will continue unabated. Our commitment to offering a wide range of exercises including Islamic classes, camps, da’wah activities, sports, and much more remains unwavering. We believe this expansion will only enhance these offerings, making our community stronger, closer, and more vibrant.
The journey ahead is sure to be filled with hard work and challenges, but with the continued support and prayers of our community, we are confident that we will successfully create a hub that offers even more to our UMA family.
