Sydney Islamic College
About Us
Sydney Islamic College is an independent, non-profit educational institution based in Sydney-Australia.
It was established in 2005 by sincere and enthusiastic Muslim brothers and sisters, under the supervision of qualified Muslim scholars.
The Institution was established to fulfil the need of an authentic Islamic educational system for Muslims living in the West, according to the Qur’an and Sunnah.
Our Mission
To live up to our motto: “Successful are those who seek knowledge”. This indicates that we should seek knowledge from the cradle to the grave, (as the Prophet Muhammad instructed), through a suitable Islamic Institution to attain the ultimate goal in life – Paradise.
Aims and Objectives
- To teach the fundamentals of Islam through an accredited and qualified teacher, according to the prescribed Shari’ah.
- To propagate authentic Islamic Sciences and Literature to annul religious innovations and embrace moderation (the middle way) in Islam.
- To rectify the misconceptions about Islam, and to present it in its correct form to both Muslims and Non-Muslims.
- To provide a much-needed educational system that plants and fosters Islamic ethics and values in students gaining academic knowledge, so that they may become successful Du’at(Callers of Islam) and effective role models for others who will be able to recognise their manners, character, and wisdom.
