What is the 27th Night?

The 27th night is widely anticipated as Laylatul Qadr (the Night of Power). It is a night of significant spiritual weight, dedicated to worship, prayer, and seeking forgiveness. UMA hosts a structured program to help the community maximize the benefits of this night in a collective environment.

Whatʼs Happening on the Night

Isha & Taraweeh Prayers

Congregational Isha followed by Taraweeh prayers.

Spiritual Reminders & Talks

Short reminders and brief lectures.

Extended Night Prayers

Extended Qiyam-ul-Layl (late night prayers).

Collective & Personal Dua

Collective and individual supplication.

Suhoor Before Fajr

Suhoor (pre-dawn meal) provided on-site.

The Schedule

Attending in Person

The center will reach capacity early. Please prepare for a high-volume event. Security and volunteers will be on-site to direct foot traffic and prayer rows.

  • Personal Musalla (Prayer Mat).
  • Reusable water bottle.
  • Warm clothing (layers), as some areas may
    be outdoors or ventilated.
  • Arrive at least 30-45 minutes before Isha to
    secure a space.
  • Follow the directions of all parking and
    safety marshals.
  • Enter through the designated brothersʼ and
    sistersʼ entrances.

Joining Online

For those unable to attend in person, the full program will be broadcast live. Digital program booklets will be available for download to follow along with the Duas.

Conserve Energy

Rest during the day to ensure you can remain alert throughout the night.

Plan Transport

Carpool where possible to reduce local traffic congestion.

Digital Silence

We encourage attendees to keep phones on silent to maintain the sanctity of the prayer hall.

Where do I park?

Parking is available at Watson Road and Gibson Avenue. Please do not park across residential driveways or block local access. Expect a 5-10 minute walk from the parking zones.

What is the capacity?

Once the building reaches legal capacity, entry will be restricted for safety reasons. We recommend arriving early to avoid disappointment.

Are children welcome?

We kindly request that children under the age of 5 are not brought on the night.

Is the facility accessible?

Yes. Ramp access and designated seating for the elderly or those with mobility requirements..
